7formation pledge to raise £5000 for local children’s cancer charity

7formation has committed to raising £5000 for local charity, Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG).

The fundraising target forms part of a new charity partnership between the two organisations, which will see 7formation and its employees getting involved in a number of fundraising activities throughout 2019.

7formation operations director, Jak Garner, has already committed to taking part in the 2019 London Marathon on behalf of the charity and the team are busy planning numerous charity events to raise those much-needed donations.

The Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group are a leading children’s cancer charity and is the only organisation which brings together all professionals working within childhood cancer to share expertise and knowledge to improve treatments and patient care. Their aim is to cure as many children as possible while reducing the side effects of treatment.

7formation managing director, Steve Rowell, commented: “It is so important that we underpin all our works with a strong commitment to giving back to the local community. Many of our employees live in and around the Northamptonshire/Leicestershire area so we really wanted to pick a charity partner that had local resonance.

We’re hoping that as well as raising valuable funds for the organisation, we’ll also be able to have some fun along the way. We’re all really looking forward to working with Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia and are optimistic that we can exceed our fundraising target”,
