This project transformed an empty unit into an operational Coastguard facility. Key structural modifications included forming new internal walls and creating openings between Unit 6 and Unit 7 to optimize space. Following this, drylining was completed, and welfare amenities were installed to support staff needs.
The facility received new flooring, paintwork, tiling, and joinery to achieve a functional, professional finish. Essential system installations, such as electrical, data, fire, and security alarms, were also integrated to ensure safety and connectivity.
Additionally, plumbing and mechanical systems were set up, while custom displays and furniture were added to meet the Coastguard’s requirements. EV charging points were installed to support sustainable energy use. This comprehensive fit-out successfully transformed the unit into a secure, fully functional Coastguard facility, ready for immediate use.
