Across a 13 week programme, we created the first Museum of Illusions to hit the UK in Manchester! Within the project, we transformed an empty unit on Manchester’s bustling high street to create the public attraction.
To begin the project we undertook a full strip out of the remaining fixtures and fittings, isolated and removed existing services, and the removal of existing partition walls & flooring.
To create the Museum we undertook specialist joinery works to create elaborate wall features, installed partition walls to create immersive illusions, and undertook decorative works in preparation for the client direct theming team, which we oversaw. We also installed an adapted staircase and escalator in addition to the flooring works.
Due to site constraints because of its location on the high street, we had to create elaborate systems to facilitate staff welfare and skip areas on the site.
