7formation is pleased to announce the successful completion of the shell works for a new dual drive-thru development at Coventry Arena Shopping Park, where two purpose-built units will soon house Popeyes and Five Guys. This project has transformed an underused area of the retail park’s main entrance car park into a modern, efficient, steel-framed development that is now fully prepared for client fit-out.

The works began on 24th March 2025, with 7formation tasked with turning a previously underutilised space into two high-quality, out-of-the-ground units. Our team delivered full groundworks, a comprehensive services installation package, and all structural elements, ensuring seamless integration with the existing infrastructure. This included extensive mains service connections, which were carefully planned and executed to support the operational needs of both incoming tenants.

Delivering this project within a live retail environment required meticulous coordination and close communication with the shopping park’s management and surrounding businesses. Temporary closures to the main service entrance and the introduction of a full reroute were essential to progress the works safely, and these measures were handled efficiently to minimise disruption to retailers and visitors. Despite the complexity of working at one of Coventry’s busiest destinations, the shell phase was completed to programme, demonstrating the capability, discipline, and efficiency of our site team.

Sustainability also played a meaningful role in the project’s delivery. We utilised innovative eco cabins powered by on-site solar panels, reducing energy consumption and supporting more environmentally conscious site operations throughout the build.

With the shell phase now complete, the units have been handed over to the client’s fit-out teams, keeping the wider project on track for completion in early to mid-December 2025. From initial groundworks through to final handover, the focus has remained firmly on delivering a high-quality build and ensuring a smooth, efficient development process that supports the introduction of two well-known brands to Coventry Arena Shopping Park.
