Southside Shopping Centre, on the corner of Garratt Lane and Wandsworth High Street, recently underwent a major refurbishment to enhance its appeal and functionality. Works included a striking new north entrance with modern signage, a significantly upgraded south entrance featuring a high-quality brick façade, improved west entrance signage, bespoke feature lighting, and a refurbished upper concourse for tenants and visitors.
The brick façade at the south entrance was the project’s main focus. Designed for both durability and visual harmony with the surrounding architecture, it used premium materials to create a timeless, low-maintenance finish. Careful attention to detail ensured a seamless integration with the existing structure, boosting the centre’s curb appeal and reinforcing its community presence.
All works were carried out in a live shopping environment, with phased planning, robust safety measures, and clear communication ensuring minimal disruption while keeping the centre fully operational.
