7formation completed The Moorings project – a 16-week, £1 million renovation initiated after an NHS negligence case. Acting as principal contractor alongside Fieldfisher and Cubic Architects, 7formation transformed an outdated bungalow into a modern, fully accessible home for a disabled client.
The works included a bespoke single-storey extension, enhancing space and functionality. Accessibility was prioritised with the installation of a ceiling track hoist system, enabling seamless movement throughout the house. A full internal strip-out and refurbishment modernised living areas, while roof upgrades, including a new glazed lantern, improved light and comfort.
External improvements featured level access, new paving, and a purpose-built carport. Mechanical and electrical systems were overhauled, incorporating underfloor heating and a new boiler, along with drainage and water supply upgrades.
The project delivered a thoughtfully designed, accessible home that exceeded expectations, showcasing 7formation’s commitment to quality, collaboration, and client-focused solutions.
