Acting as the principal contractor, 7formation undertook a comprehensive refurbishment project for West Northamptonshire Council across two key sites: Towcester Forum and One Angel Square.

Both projects were strategically divided into two phases to accommodate the live working environment, ensuring minimal disruption to staff and visitors.

Our programme was meticulously designed to maintain productivity while transforming both locations. The refurbishment at Towcester Forum, which spanned 19 weeks, included the installation of new carpet tiles and complete redecoration throughout the building. Meeting rooms were reconfigured to facilitate open space working environments, enhancing collaboration.

Additionally, we implemented new electrical and mechanical systems to improve functionality and efficiency. At Towcester Forum, we installed glazing around the atrium space and made alterations to the internal structure, further promoting an open office atmosphere.

Meanwhile, the One Angel Square project, which lasted 36 weeks, followed a similar scope, focusing on creating a modern workspace while ensuring all upgrades met the council’s requirements. New flooring was installed on all three floors, complementing the modern aesthetic.

Through careful planning and execution, 7formation successfully delivered a high-quality refurbishment that aligns with the council’s vision, improving both functionality and aesthetics.
